Ever wanted to paint your thrusters a different color on the inside? Here's how. What you will need: This stuff goes by a few different names blue/sticky/mounting tack. It's a sticky rubber like substance usually used to hold up posters and the like. Step 1: Paint your thrusters base color. This will be the color they are on the INSIDE . Step 2: Ball up some blue tack and fill the insides, be careful to keep the tack off the thruster "lip"  Step 3: Spray your outside color. Done: You now have two color thrusters. For flat verniers masking tape is the way to go. Use a hobby knife to cut the tape down to size. That's all for today, next up will be reverse washing the insignia parts!

My custom build of Bandai's HG 1/144 Genoace/Gn-X/00-7Sword The HG Genoace kit is already pretty great. Very basic design and a solid load out with plenty of room for modification, the perfect base for a kitbash. I did this project for a group build with the theme of a personal build fighter, my goal was to design a slightly understated high mobility grunt type suit. I may have overdone some of the colors but I was very pleased with the outcome regardless. Original concept: Blocky Genoace head and leg camo.  The Genoace perfectly mounts the GN-X's tail booster and HG Jegan's shoulders, It's feet have been replaced with 00 Seven Sword's. Head replaced for the HG GN-X head:  Beam sabers painted candy colors Sinanju inspired thruster pack built from build boosters and connected to Seven Sword's backpack: This made the kit very back heavy so I glued some metal ball bearings in it's feet to help it sta

My custom build of Bandai's HGUC 1/144 Banshee Destroy/Norn Since I first saw it in episode 4 of Unicorn the Banshee has been one of my favorite MS. Everything about it appeals to me, the claws the V-fin and of course the panel separation for the psycho frame. When I saw the kit on the shelf of my local hobby store I was overjoyed, but can a mere high grade live up to my hopes? I did a complete repaint for this kit based on a scheme by another modeler, The black has been replaced with white and grey and the psycho frame is candy teal. For contrast.   This suit's upper body is amazing. The separation makes it look truly striking.   Backpack also looks really cool with that frame showing! Unfortunately the Banshee destroy mode does not come with it's armed armor DE shield. The legs despite being visually impressive have a very underwhelming range of motion. They connect to the waist via ball and socket joint, a very poor design choic
